If you hadn't heard a single bluefin tuna fish recently sold in Japan for $1.76 MILLION. I love suschi but holy... tunafish!
After falling over a few week period then going limp for about two months prior to and after the presidential election gas prices here in North Texas have jumped $0.30 in about two weeks (that's 30 cents for the mathematically and monitarily challenged). I'm not sure what is jacking them up right now but here is some information on what normally affects gasoline prices. Consider this a public service.
Pope Gregory XIII, whose birthday was on January 7, established the Gregorian Calendar by a papal decree signed on 24 February 1582. In case you didn't see this on my blog on Monday, you can read here about why the calendar was established.
THE KELLYs – No they are NOT related, but they do look very much alike. I guess it's the Irish in them. Anyway, BOTH are being discussed as potential NFL coaches. Here's what I think about that: CHIP Kelly (right) is a bombastic, egotistical blowhard that runs a rinky-dink college offense. Just because he gets good athletes and is successful with it doesn't mean it or he would translate to the NFL. BRIAN Kelly (the other one), with the help of a national media frenzy, re-inflated Notre Dame's image this season by going 11-0 with the help of SEVEN regular season games at home, beating a whole lot of nobodies (a couple of whom ND barley defeated AT HOME) and a few big name teams that were average or just slightly above (Michigan, Oklahoma and USC). [Check all their won-loss records and schedules.] When Notre Dame went up against a REAL team, Alabama, they had their hats handed to them in what could possibly have been the worst college football national championship game EVER. Alabama's coach, Nick Saban, stated afterward he was a little disappointed with his defense meaning he actually thought they could have shut out ND with a little better effort. Kelly (the one named Brian) even admitted post-game that he needed some better athletes to complete with the likes of Alabama. Although I think that Brian would be a better pro candidate than Chip neither is ready at this time.
Take it and go.
